War On Drugs – A Deeper Understanding Vinyl Record

Description

With its highly anticipated follow up to 2014’s Lost In The Dream, The War On Drugs presents A Deeper Understanding. Atlantic Records has been drawn to the band’s passionate and critically acclaimed work. During three and a half years of work in studios in NYC and LA, led by hedonist frontman Adam Granduciel, The War On Drugs have fine-tuned the idea of creating a perfect piece of music for the modern age. Bassist Dave Hartley, drummer Charlie Hall, multi-instrumentalists Anthony LaMarca and Jon Natchez, and keyboardist Robbie Bennett – all collaborating and creating with engineer Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes/ Weezer) – have combined to reach incredible heights. Pitchfork remarking Granduciel’s influence is “omnipresent”, NPR hailing the leading singles as “epic” and “pulsing”. A Deeper Understanding beckons – a band record of confidence and coordination.
