1000 Limited Run Color
As a band, Turnover has always been unafraid of speaking the truth. Their emotionally raw lyrics have been a tried and true recipe for success, but with their second album, Peripheral Vision, they dive even deeper. Collaborating once again with Magnolia producer Will Yip, the band’s latest record showcases their growth and maturity, resulting in their most ethereal and reverberating soundscape yet, fusing dreamy pop and nostalgic emo rock. Tracks like “Hello Euphoria” and “Like Slow Disappearing” reflect this calmer, subdued songwriting, accompanied by Austin Getz’s melancholy, confessional words that linger long after the song ends. Peripheral Vision proves that Turnover truly understands and connects with their generation, continually evolving and providing a cathartic experience for all who listen.
