Description
Music plays an integral role in the Christmas season. Classic Christmas songs from the 1950s, particularly the ones with a touch of rock, evoke nostalgia and magic. This album features some of the greatest Christmas classics such as “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” performed by Gene Autry, “Run Rudolph Run” by Chuck Berry, and Rockin Around The Christmas Tree (2022 Pin-Up Girls Christmas) – all of which were written by John David Marks, an American songwriter who specialized in Christmas songs despite being Jewish and not celebrating Christmas himself. Bobby Helms released “Jingle Bell Rock,” an American popular Christmas song, in 1957. The album’s final track is “We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” sung by Diahann Carroll, an American actress, singer, model, and activist, following the English tradition.
