Description
Merge releases a deluxe, limited-edition double-LP (180g) of Spoon’s classic Gimme Fiction to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The reissue contains the album remastered by Howie Weinberg, 12 previously unreleased demos, 9 bonus tracks via digital download, a full-color book, and a 24″x36″ poster. Gimme Fiction displays sonic pointillism, dub-influenced weirdness, and Dylan worship. Its self-assurance and tastefulness result in a sharply realized album. It’s a “departure point” for a band that found lasting place on vinyl.
