Description
Slift’s latest album ‘ILION’ is a remarkable work of rock music that starts at the highest peak and never lets up. The Toulouse-based trio merge the intense energy of metal with the guitar heroics of psych rock and the epic sense of scale found in post-rock. This creates a massive and oceanic sound that is overwhelming but expertly crafted. It’s hard to believe that such a powerful and intricate sound was created by only three people. Slift’s music is not just a tempest in a teacup but a force that reaches outwards for miles, creating new heights within the unexplored horizons of rock music.
