Description

Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarn, Roma is a deeply personal and visually stunning drama set in 1970s Mexico City. The film follows Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio), a devoted live-in maid working for a middle-class family in Colonia Roma. As she navigates personal and social upheavals, including an unexpected pregnancy, Cleo finds solace and support from her employer, Sofa (Marina de Tavira), who is facing struggles of her own. Shot in breathtaking black and white, Roma is a poignant tribute to the women who shape our lives.
