Description
Passionately uniting once again, Rival Schools and Run For Cover Records have released their highly anticipated 2011 sophomore album Pedals on vinyl, for the first time in years. This definitive edition, curated by the band themselves, features updated artwork, packaging, and additional content such as lyrics and liner notes. Along with the ten original tracks, the second disc includes rare b-sides and energetic live recordings. Led by vocalist/guitarist Walter Schreifels, former member of hardcore legends Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits, and Quicksand, Rival Schools combines pop melodies with punk ethos. Joining him are Ian Love, Cache Tolman, and Sammy Siegler, known for their work in Iceburn, CIV, and Glassjaw. With Pedals, Rival Schools continues to redefine the sound of hardcore and solidify their place in the scene.
