Pinback – Information Retrieved – Dark Blue Color Vinyl Record

Description

Their fifth album, Information Retrieved, is a logical and accessible culmination of over a decade of Pinback’s sound development. This consistency makes Information Retrieved a euphoric surprise and their finest album, cementing their legacy alongside classics like “Good To Sea” and “Summer In Abaddon.” It’s better than expected. Rather than coasting to another well-received album, they excelled, achieving a major triumph. Their signature elements remain: Zach Smith’s unique bass guitar acrobatics driving rhythm and melody, Rob Crow’s compelling voice, and their remarkable musical and lyrical interplay. The difference now is their exquisite control of dynamics and increased emotional resonance. This is the most complete and soulful Pinback album, marking a standout moment in their brilliant career that we now cherish even more.
