While their music may evoke memories of the greats that came before them, Molchat Doma’s sound is unmistakably their own, with a distinct style and meaning that sets them apart from their peers. Their name, which translates to “Houses Are Silent”, captures the mysterious and enigmatic aura that surrounds their music, drawing listeners into a world that is at once haunting and alluring. With “S Krysh Nashikh Domov”, Molchat Doma announced their arrival as a band to watch, and their subsequent releases have only cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting acts in underground music today.
