Description
Experience a trailblazing work of early feminist cinema with Merrily We Go to Hell, directed by the legendary Dorothy Arzner. Originally released in 1932, this daring pre-Code drama stars Sylvia Sidney and Fredric March in a bold exploration of love, marriage, and betrayal. As heiress Joan Prentice navigates her relationship with a charming but troubled playwright, the film presents a strikingly modern portrait of emotional independence and romantic disillusionment all now available in a restored Blu-ray edition from the Criterion Collection.
