Description
The Men, a four-piece post-punk outfit from Brooklyn, present Leave Home, a landmark LP that helped redefine DIY punk. This clear vinyl pressing on a 12-inch disk captures their tape-to-tape approach and razor-edged dynamics that blend stinging riffs with drone and shoegaze textures.
When Village Voice premiered the single Bataille months before street date, it signaled the albums restless energy: a pug-ugly joy-punk riff that careens into krautrock-inspired propulsion. With three songwriters, The Men pull from a wide palettedrone, metal, and even Suicide-inspired motifswhile recording to tape for the first time, delivering distortion, hooks, and devastating instrumental passages.
This release emphasizes physical detail: clear vinyl, a vivid artifact for collectors who want a tangible piece of the bands evolution.
