Description
“Tears of Injustice” is a delightful new recording from Mdou Moctars 2024 album “Funeral for Justice,” featuring beautiful performances on acoustic instruments. The sessions were held at Brooklyns Bunker Studio during the summer of 2023, offering an excellent opportunity for the band to create music while they found themselves in the United States following Nigers recent military coup. The thoughtful arrangements add depth to the songs, transforming the powerful sound of “Funeral” into a more intimate and reflective experience.”
