Description
The great Marty Robbins was country music’s Renaissance man. He was a successful recording artist, stage performer, actor, author, songwriter, and stock car racer as well. Throughout his career, Robbins recorded country, western, pure honky-tonk, rockabilly, blues, Hawaiian music, calypso and gospel too. But overall he was a prime example of the singing cowboy style. Songs like those on Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs established Robbins as the master of this style of country music. THE COMPLETE ALBUM + 5 BONUS TRACKS – 180-GRAM VIRGIN VINYL – LIMITED EDITION contains some of the best story telling country western music in history, with hits like “Big Iron” “They’re Hanging Me Tonight” and the spiritual awakening “The Master’s Call.”
