Description

Experience an iconic album from 1973, with Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry at the cutting edge of his defining Black Ark sound. “Kentucky Skank” sets the tone with sublimely eerie vibes, along with deep-fried chicken sounds, tape warps, a ghostly trumpet, and future-focused Moog elements. U Roy’s Double Six and I. Roy’s High Fashion & Hail Stones display The Upsetters’ formidable deejay magic, plus Carib-flavored renditions of the Classic Soul hits We Are Neighbours, Soul Man and Al Green’s classic Love and Happiness (renamed Jungle Lion). The productioncelebrates Perry’s full audio/spatial range with a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on silver colored vinyl. Don’t miss it!
