Description
Kishi Bashi’s Music from the Song Film: Omoiyari – Blue & Sky Blue Color Vinyl is an evocative soundtrack to the film and journey of personal discovery. The two-LP release features live improvisations, inspired by the 120,000 Japanese Americans incarcerated after Pearl Harbor. Omoiyari, meaning ’empathy and consideration’, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of social justice and compassion. It’s an inspiring example of the musical genius of one of indie’s most talented artists.
