Description
As King Gizzard promised, 2017 was a spectacularly prolific year with five incredible studio albums-the last of which, Gumboot Soup, arriving to celebrate the new year. From February’s Flying Microtonal Banana and June’s Murder of the Universe to August’s Sketches of Brunswick East and November’s Polygondwanaland-each album receiving critical acclaim-it’s no wonder Gumboot Soup stands out as the most eclectic of the five, combining a vibrant variety of microtonal, psychedelic, prog, metal and punk elements.
