KillerStar – The Afterglow Vinyl LP

Description

The eagerly anticipated second album from KillerStar. The debut received rave press reviews, including 4-star reviews in Mojo, The Times, and RnR. This album features David Bowie’s most trusted musicians: Mike Garson, Earl Slick, and Mark Plati, along with the sublime harmonies of The Webb Sisters (David Gilmour, Leonard Cohen). They combine with band founders/songwriters Rob Fleming and James Sedge to deliver a captivating album described as “Art Rock with hooks.” The album is a powerful, electrifying album, full of catchy hooks, killer melodies, and earworm sonic detail. The Bowie alumni bring shades of their old boss with them to an album that nonetheless belongs entirely to its own world. The Afterglow picks up where the first album left off while going further into the stratosphere.
