Fast-rising Mercury Nashville recording artist Kacey Musgraves has returned with her exciting and inspiring sophomore album, Pageant Material. Featuring the hit single Biscuits, climbing the charts at country radio, Musgraves co-wrote and co-produced with Shane McAnally and Luke Laird. She described the experience as really fun and exciting and said that with this record, The majority of Pageant Material was recorded live – which was a bit of a departure from Same Trailer – and gave it more of a concise, classic sound. All the incredible musicians in the room helped convey the spirit of the album and her journey over the past few years. Lyrically, Pageant Material is a vivid glimpse into her head from Same Trailer to now and has earned her two Grammys and the 2014 ACM Album of the Year.
