Jessica Pratt – Quiet Signs – Vinyl Record

Description

Recorded entirely in a professional studio, Jessica Pratt’s debut album “Quiet Signs” showcases her refined songwriting and guitar skills, resulting in a more distinct and direct sound. While still maintaining elements of her dreamy, hazy aesthetic in songs like “Fare Thee Well” and “Poly Blue,” the addition of delicate flute, strings, organ arrangements and piano elevate the album to a lush chamber pop feel, reminiscent of The Left Banke. The first single, “This Time Around,” captivates with Pratt’s late-night clarity and evokes the brilliance of Caetano Veloso. And as the album comes to a close, the showstopping finale “Aeroplane” leaves a lasting impact.
