Description
J Dilla’s masterpiece “Donuts” is an album that has had hundreds of thousands of words written about it, and we think that’s a good start. “Donuts” breaks all of the rules of what a hip-hop beat could sound like and howsamples can be chopped up into something original itself.
J Dilla will always be remembered for a lot of things. “Donuts” will be one them.
