Hiss Golden Messenger – Jump for Joy – orange & black swirl color vinyl

Description

Prepare to take a leap of joy when Hiss Golden Messenger, helmed by the remarkable M.C. Taylor, presents their newest set of tracks on August 25th, 2023. Taylor’s collection of pieces highlight his most personal and introspective material bearing the Hiss name, like messages shared between Taylor and his alter ego, Michael Crow. Just like Taylor when he was younger, Michael embarks on a 14-track voyage full of highs and lows. Through his journey, the album serves as a deep contemplation of the relationship between life and art, delving into dreams, goals, and the beauty of life in all its chaos. Taylor explains how creating this character was how I expressed those vulnerable moments, even if I didn’t realize it then. In Jump for Joy, Taylor takes us back to his 16-year-old self, driven by a feeling of something great around the corner, untainted by reality’s hurt.
