Description
Experience Heavenly’s stunning second album, the eight-song affair that includes both sides of their singles, Our Love Is Heavenly and So Little Deserve. With Cathy Rogers adding beautiful backing vocals and keyboards, the sound is lushly multi-dimensional compared to their debut, as stellar guitar riffs and crashing drums are enveloped in radiant harmonies. Savour the witty C is the Heavenly Option, a problem-page questionnaire turned into a 3-minute popsong featuring Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening on vocals, plus the sixties pop rush of Sort Of Mine, full of yearning and dry humor (“Is this all that I want in my life – someone to say he’s sort of mine?….”).
