Description
Hamilton Leithauser‘s 5th studio album, This Side of the Island, co-produced by Aaron Dessner of The National, takes an exciting step away from the folk-rock vibes of his earlier two records. It brings in a groovier, bass-heavy, and modern sound that reflects influences from several decades of music! Inspired by events in Hamilton’s personal life, the lyrics of the album really highlight his unyielding optimism and sharp wit as they delve into profound themes like solitude, love, loss, and resilience.
