Future Islands As Long As You Are is a vinyl pressing that looks to the past as well as the future, confronting old ghosts and embracing new hope. The album centers on trust, honesty, redemption, and letting go, bringing painful chapters to a close while signaling a new era for the band as drummer Mike Lowry joins as a full member and songwriter alongside William Cashion, Samuel T. Herring, and Gerrit Whelmers. For the first time, the quartet co-produced the record with engineer Steve Wright at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, weaving fresh energy into the bands core sound.
