Description
Fruit Bats, led by Eric D. Johnson, create music that softens the harshness of modern life with bright melodies, natural imagery, and thoughtful observations. Their latest album, The Ruminant Band, continues this tradition with engaging tracks like “The Hobo Girl” and the title track. Despite playing with other bands, Johnson’s refined songwriting and production shine through, supported by collaborators who understand when to hold back and when to push forward.
