Description
Toronto’s Ducks Ltd. release their much-anticipated expanded reissue of debut EP, Get Bleak, on May 21, 2021 via Carpark Records. Guided by Evan Lewis’ lead guitar and Tom Mcgreevy’s vocal/rhythm guitar, the band’s bright and sinewy sound has earned them accolades from Pitchfork for their “lilting, throwback jangle pop”. Get Bleak showcases Ducks Ltd’s signature restless bounce, thoughtful lyrics and love of orchestration, addressing topics like troubled friendships, self-destructive desires, living with decline, all combining earnest reflection and humor that defined their sound.
