Description
Casting off the constraints of London in 1999, Coil founders John Balance and Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson sought solace in the tranquil coastal town of Weston-super-Mare, using their lavish eight-bedroom estate as a creative haven to explore the depths of their transcendental chemistry. From these sessions emerged the celestial masterpiece Musick To Play In The Dark, hailed as the pinnacle of their artistic journey. However, the flow of inspiration was so potent that a second record was borne during the making of the first, resulting in the mesmerizing Cloudy Purple Color Vinyl Record.
