Description
“Humor Risk” is Cass’ most upbeat album to date, recorded in various homes and studios across America and produced by Cass and Ariel Rechtshaid. With its optimistic mood, this album can be seen as the happier counterpart to “Wit’s End.” Cass’ lyrics remain wry and interesting, while the arrangements are just as beautiful as on previous albums. However, this time around Cass’ vocals are higher, the rhythm is faster, and the melodies are more infectious.
“Humor Risk” showcases another facet of this versatile and talented artist, who is often underrated. Cass continues to impress with her creative abilities and her ability to convey emotions through her music. This album is a must-listen for fans of Cass’ work and for anyone looking for uplifting and thought-provoking music.
