Description
Camera Obscura debuted with the critically-acclaimed album Lets Get Out Of This Country three years ago. The band returns with their follow-up and 4AD debut, My Maudlin Career. The album touches upon everyday life, relationships, and emotions with affective pop elements. The single French Navy displays this sentiment with layers of melody without losing its personal meaning. This sound has drawn comparisons to bands such as Belle & Sebastian, The Lucksmiths, and The Smiths.
