Buck Meeks ‘The Mirror’, his fourth solo and second album with 4AD, combines tenderness with vulnerability, exploring the unknown and everyday life. Raised in Texas and influenced by local musicians, he later moved to New York, forming Big Thief with Adrianne Lenker. The album, a collaboration with producer James Krivchenia and various musicians, blends live energy with electronic elements, inviting real-time experimentation. Featuring both new and longtime collaborators, it uses lexical mirrorstactile tools revealing new truthsto embrace curiosity and explore duality in the mundane.
