New Vinyl Record – Brand New Heavies, The – Heavy Rhyme Experience: Vol. 1
A must-have for any hip-hop fans record collection, Heavy Rhyme Experience: Vol. 1 returns to vinyl after more than a decade. The sophomore album from British acid jazz band the Brand New Heavies features a host of collaborations. Long ahead of its time when it was released in 1992, the album includes airtight rhymes by the likes of Gang Starr (Its Gettin Hectic), The Pharcyde (Soul Flower), Kool G. Rap (Death Threat), and Masta Ace Incorporated (Wake Me When Im Dead), all underscored by the Brand New Heavies live, laid-back grooves. This 30th Anniversary Edition is pressed on Orange vinyl.
