Bow Wow Wow – I Want Candy by – Pink Color Vinyl Record Import 180g

Description

For many Americans, “I Want Candy” was their introduction to the charming Annabella Lwin and the lively band Bow Wow Wow. Although the song- a fun cover of a Strangeloves hit- only just reached the Top 50, it has become a beloved new wave classic! This catchy track inspired the band’s 1982 album, which is primarily a delightful compilation but includes several new pieces produced by Kenny Laguna, known for his work with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. These Laguna-produced tracks highlight Lwin’s growing confidence and a slightly more relaxed vocal style. “Louis Quatorze,” with its playful narrative about falling for the bad boy, features a chorus that’s hard to resist, while the memorable “Baby, Oh No” Lingers in your mind long after the song ends. Naturally, every Bow Wow Wow album showcases Lwin’s playful allure, particularly on the song “Cowboy.” With a blend of strong new tracks, beloved classics, and the catchy hit that made them one-hit wonders, ” I Want Candy ” provides a delightful experience that never overstays its welcome!
