Description
The Beths’ 2018 debut album, Future Me Hates Me, changed the game for Auckland, NZ; they quit jobs, said goodbye to home, and toured the world, playing to devoted fans and supporting acts like Death Cab for Cutie. Frontwoman Elizabeth Stokes wrote the band’s follow-up, Jump Rope Gazers, between gigs, a work of power-pop-laced emotion tackling the anxiety and self-doubt we all experience. Their most expressive and heartfelt album yet, it captures the tough parts of relationships and reminds us why, despite it all, living with and loving others is worth the fight.
