Description
The Avett Brothers’ sixth album, The Carpenter, produced by Rick Rubin. The first single, “Live and Die,” features a memorable banjo melody.
Following their successful 2009 album, I and Love and You, which peaked at #16 on the Billboard Top 200, the band garnered rave reviews from outlets like Rolling Stone and Paste. They gained enough recognition to perform at the 2011 Grammy Awards and support Bob Dylan with Mumford & Sons on “Maggie’s Farm.”
