Amy Winehouse – Frank – Vinyl Record

Description

Harkening back to the glorious sounds of legendary vocalists Billie Holiday and Lauryn Hill, British songbird Amy Winehouse rises above comparisons to Macy Gray with her unique blend of power and subtlety. Unlike Gray’s over-produced tracks, Winehouse’s music oozes with authenticity and soul, thanks to the raw talent of her backing musicians. With tracks like “You Sent Me Flying,” where Winehouse’s vocals glide effortlessly over Brazilian guitar melodies, and “Fuck Me Pumps,” where she boldly critiques the music and dating scenes, Winehouse proves to be a force to be reckoned with. And with the catchy R&B track “In My Bed” and a sultry club cover of “Moody’s Mood for Love,” she effortlessly shows off her versatility across genres. Get ready to be blown away by Winehouse’s intoxicating vocals and genuine artistry.
