Alice in Chains’ debut album “Facelift” is a grunge classic that helped define the sound of the early 1990s. Released in 1990, the album features the band’s signature heavy and haunting sound, with Jerry Cantrell’s sludgy guitar riffs and Layne Staley’s raw vocals. From the iconic opening track “We Die Young” to the somber ballad “Love, Hate, Love,” the record showcases the band’s ability to blend hard rock with introspective and dark lyrics. The vinyl record provides a warm and immersive sound, bringing the listener closer to the raw energy and emotion of the band’s music. “Facelift” remains a timeless and essential album in the history of grunge and rock music.
