Description
Agnes Obel’s debut album Philharmonics is a stunning success in Denmark. She combines immediate appeal with a sense of unease, highlighted by her vocal arrangements and haunting harmonies. The album is elegantly dark, with a unique personal touch on covers like John Cale’s “I Keep a Close Watch.” Philharmonics impresses with its variety and dark beauty.
