Description
ADULT. refuses to compromise. For over 25 years, the unrelenting Detroit synth-punk duo of Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller has channeled raw frustration, distrust, and defiance into their sound. They’ve never softenedand they’re not about to start. On Kissing Luck Goodbye, their most visceral and urgent work yet, the pair unleash a sonic assault that’s louder, clearer, and angrier than ever before. Armed with upgraded gear and a fresh arsenal of sounds, the material hits with crushing dynamics. Kuperus’ commanding vocals dominate the mix, delivering vivid, caustic declarations and chants that cut through the noise. Laughterdark, possessed, menacingthreads through the album as a haunting reminder of the absurdity we’re living through. This is uncompromising synth-punk at its most potent.
