Genie Santiago – Inner Space Vinyl LP

Description

Genie Santiagos Inner Space is space within body, mind, and spirit. It is a sincere, vulnerable, and introspective journey into traumas and healing. The soundscape has dreamy qualities of singing bowls, wooden flutes, vocal harmonies, and acoustic violin in addition to hip-hop, R&B, and contemporary electronic production. Genie Santiagos spoken word, rapping, chanting, and singing, all play a role in telling her life story in a way that is true to each stage of her healing. This album is meant to be listened to in order from beginning to end, providing a unified, inspiring story.

The album was written and performed by Genie Santiago and features collaborations with many talented and skillful artists. It was produced and engineered brilliantly by Mertz at The Bridge Sound and Stage in Cambridge, MA.
