Description

Destry Rides Again is a legendary Western starring James Stewart as Tom Destry, a seemingly mild-mannered deputy who takes a unique approach to law enforcement. Assigned to the crime-ridden town of Bottle Neck, Destrys refusal to carry a gun is ridiculeduntil his clever strategies begin to challenge the corrupt rule of saloon owner Kent (Brian Donlevy). With help from the drunken sheriff Dimmsdale (Charles Winninger) and unexpected ally Frenchy (Marlene Dietrich), Destry fights for justice in this beloved 1939 classic. Now restored in stunning Blu-ray quality by The Criterion Collection.
