Description

Visionary director Suzuki Seijuns Tokyo Drifter is a dazzling, genre-bending Yakuza thriller that redefined Japanese cinema. The film follows Tetsu (Tetsuya Watari), a former hitman turned loyal enforcer for his reformed boss, Kurata. When old rivalries resurface, violence erupts, forcing Tetsu to flee the city to protect Kurata. Dressed in his iconic powder-blue suit and armed with a stoic demeanor, he embarks on a surreal journey through a vividly stylized underworld.
