Description
If youve just stumbled onto The Devil Is Loose by Asha Puthli, youre in for a wild, glamorous ride. Released in 1976, this album captures a unique moment where Indian elegance met European disco, soul, and space-age funk. Asha wasnt just another pop singer she was a genre-defying force. With her voice and style, she crafted a sound that felt like Studio 54 had collided with Bollywood. The standout track Space Talk became a cult classic, sampled by everyone from The Notorious B.I.G. to grime producers decades later. This isnt just retro its a record that still sounds futuristic.
