Description
Peter Wellers songwriting truly blossomed on this 1978 LP, beautifully pairing character portraits with insightful social commentary while the catchy beats and melodic hooks keep you engaged. Its an absolute must-have: “All Mod Cons,” “To Be Someone,” “Mr. Clean,” “English Rose,” “Down in the Tube Station at Midnight” (a UK #15 hit); “A Bomb in Wardour Street;” their delightful rendition of the Kinks “David Watts” and so many more!
