Description

Deluxe Edition 2LP Remixed by Rich Costey with 4 Bonus Live Tracks!
Indie Exclusive Limited Edition Red & Black Corona Vinyl with Etched 4th Side!

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge marks My Chemical Romance’s major label debut, establishing them as one of the most unique bands of the mid-2000s. Their blend of punk, metal, and emo creates a hopeful sound even in dark times. Songs like “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena,” and “The Ghost of You” have inspired loyal fans, known as MCRmy, who continue to support the band.

To celebrate its legacy, the 2004 album has been remixed by Rich Costey and features new artwork along with four bonus tracks recorded for BBC in 2005. Three bonus tracks include unreleased live versions of “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena,” and “The Ghost of You,” while the fourth offers a live version of “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison,” a B-side to the limited UK CD single of “I’m Not Okay (I Promise).”

With influences from Iron Maiden, The Misfits, and Morrissey, this New Jersey band captivates with their energetic sound and a cool darkness reminiscent of Nick Cave or young Trent Reznor. Heres to celebrating Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and all My Chemical Romance contributes to music!
