MJ Lenderman – Boat Songs – Vinyl Record

Description

Boat Songs is the exciting follow-up to Lendermans 2021 label debut, Ghost of Your Guitar Solo, and his subsequent release, Knockin, both celebrated for their spontaneous alternative country vibe. With Boat Songs, Lenderman steps forward with a newfound confidence, showing himself as an innovative yet approachable artist, genuine and straightforward. Recorded at Ashevilles Drop of Sun alongside the talented Alex Farrar and Colin Miller, Boat Songs marks Lendermans first venture into a professional studio. During the recording sessions, WWE matches and basketball games played silently on the studio walls, adding a unique backdrop to the creative process. You can truly feel that energy in these ten unapologetically lo-fi tracks, each one bursting with pent-up excitement and delightful surprises.
