Description
In 2012, Basement released “Colourmeinkindness,” drawing from early emo and ’90s alt-rock influences. The album’s introspective lyrics and seamless blend of sounds earned it a dedicated following. After a hiatus, Basement’s impact on the music scene was clear, influencing new bands with similar alternative rock and emo vibes.
To commemorate the album’s 10th anniversary, an expanded reissue has been released. This updated version includes alternate tracks and stripped-back arrangements, providing a fresh perspective on the album and its influence on the subgenre over the next decade.
