Description
Crushed, musicians Bre Morell and Shaun Durkan, create vibrant dream pop music inspired by their shared love for trip-hop, Britpop, electronica, and ’90s alt radio. Recording from different homesMorell in Los Angeles and Durkan in Portlandthey craft songs that resonate deeply with them, blending emotional depth with honest sound. Their debut album showcases the trust and connection they have in each other and their art. The phrase no scope from gaming, meaning shooting without aiming, perfectly captures their creative styletrusting their instincts and aiming with precision, even when the future isn’t certain, as Morell jokes, getting no-scoped by life. Despite the challenges faced in any artistic journey, their diverse musical backgrounds and late-night experiments have brought them here. And with this powerful debut, theyve hit their mark, delivering melodies and heartfelt hooks through dynamic beats and inventive sound designan exciting step forward.
