Cate Le Bon’s seventh album, ‘Michelangelo Dying,’ was born from deep emotion and passion. It took over the project she initially planned, turning into a heartfelt expression of her feelings. Born out of intense heartache, her emotions pushed her to write about love despite her hesitations, transforming the process into a kind of heartfelt exorcism. What we see is a beautifully shimmering effort to capture a wound before it heals, yet in doing so, it also gently pokes at it.
