Description
Discover the 2025 remastered reissue of the original, critically acclaimed Bar/None album, now available after being out of print for 25 years. Robert Christgau from The Village Voice called it ‘a perfect album’ with an A+ rating. Mastered for LP by Scott Hull, this album features lyrics that vividly depict characters, sometimes witfully, and often with heartfelt poignancy, as described by Mark Deming. ‘Can You Fly,’ the second acclaimed album by singer-songwriter Freedy Johnston released in 1992 on Bar/None Records, also earned a spot on Fast Folk’s top ten albums of that year.1.
