Description

No need to worryits just a dramatic title! Welcome to The Demise Of Planet X.

Over their 15+ years of making music, Sleaford Mods have crafted a unique yet irresistible DIY style, blending minimal electronics with sharp insights, which has inspired many artists following in their footsteps. From humble lo-fi beginnings to hitting the Top 5 albums, selling out tours, and headlining festivals, who better than Andrew Fearn and Jason Wiliamson to reflect on societys unraveling?

While it might seem like the world is ending quietly rather than dramatically, The Demise Of Planet X tells a different story. Just as Judgement Day visions fired the imagination of Hieronymus Bosch, this album has given us some of Sleaford Mods most heartfelt and powerful work yet. The fierce wit, raw anger, infectious beats, and quirky bleeps still burst with the duos signature energy, but this time, theyre enriched with new ideas and collaborators that bring fresh depth, empathy, and cleverness to their sound. The Demise Of Planet X remains unmistakably a Sleaford Mods album, yet it ventures into uncharted territory, exploring new and exciting places the duo has never been before.
